In Which I Stink at Asking for Help

So this is the winner! In both color and cut. It barely won out against the angled bob. I figured in the event of a tie, I’d let my hubby cast the deciding vote but this won by a few.

I’ve got the picture printed and I’m all set to get this hair chopped off but we still have $99 to go with one day left!

Remember, I’ve got to make my goal by tomorrow to finish my Dress for Change Project. I’ll be posting a dailyInstagram with my outfit, linking up to Dress for the Day with a post each Wednesday which is a bonus for plus sized women who have a hard time identifying with a lot of  fashion posts which feature smaller women who don’t have the same style issues larger women face.

In truth, I’m sort of terrible at asking for help. I think it’s one part pride and another part insecurity but it’s always been tough for me. I think people won’t care or want to help. I think I can do things on my own. But God has taught me a lot these past few years about admitting need, asking for help, and allowing myself to be humbled and blessed when I receive it.

It’s about working together to pursue God’s best, and we can’t do that alone. We need each other. And today, I need you guys, my readers and friends.
